End of Summer 2019 Update

by | Sep 22, 2019 | My Writing, Reviews, Update

There is so much going on right now in my writing life that I feel a little dizzy:) Lots of things are wrapping up. And even more things are just getting started.

Things coming to an end

First, I have finished all of the alternate scenes from the Dragon Ever After series. I had a lot of fun taking scenes from the books and retelling them from the point-of-view of the various wolf pack members. If you haven’t read them yet, they are all available on my EXTRAS page.

Second, the final exclusive** Dragon Ever After is written and will be ready to post around the first weekend of October. It ended up being tied more closely to the beginning of The Snow Wolf than I intended. Hopefully, though, you will enjoy it as a sort of mini-prologue to book one of Wolves Ever After.

**These epilogues are only available to subscribers of my newsletter, Amberlyn’s Adventures. You can sign up by HERE or by using the form in the sidebar. >>>>

Finally, the first revision pass of The Snow Wolf is complete and the manuscript is now under the (virtual) red pen of someone else’s eagle eye. Getting to this stage of a book is always so hard. I am happy that I have created something whole and complete. But I also want to hold on tight, never quite convinced it’s ready to go out on its own:)

Things getting started

Even though the creative phase of The Snow Wolf is coming to an end, the most important part for readers is just getting started.

Keep an eye out over the next couple of months for glimpses and hints of the book. I’ll be revealing the gorgeous new cover, posting teasers, linking to early excerpts and announcing the pre-order.

Again, if you are an Amberlyn’s Adventure subscriber, you will get first peek at most of these events.

Of course, now that Sterling’s story is more or less complete, I am diving in to book two of Wolves Ever After. I have already started brainstorming, researching and plotting  Rory’s story. I can’t wait until I get to turn my full attention to it.

Finally, I’m very excited to announce that I’m starting an ARC review team. If you are not familiar with ARCs (Advance Reader Copies) you can check out the bottom of last weeks How To Review post. If you already know about ARCs and would like to join my team, you can sign up HERE.

That is all the news I can think of for now. But keep an eye out for more updates this fall!!
