The Wolves Are Coming

What’s After Dragon Ever After?

If you get my newsletter, I mentioned last time that I am working hard on brainstorming and planning out my next series.
I am so excited about working on stories for the the seven treasure hunting wolf-shifters. They first appeared in Dragon Fairest and have been helping the happy couple’s all through Dragon Ever After. It’s about time that they get some happy endings of their own!

A Wolf-shifter’s Point-of-View

There’s an old saying about familiarity breeding contempt. But, honestly, I find when it comes to my work, I actually find that familiarity breeds creativity.
In order to plan the new books and keep track of continuity, I am re-reading the Dragon Ever After series to gather notes and remember the shifters’ various adventures.
Since I need to know what the wolves are thinking and doing during the original series, I thought it would be fun to rewrite some of the scenes from the point-of-view of the wolf-shifters.

Sterling Memories

The first story that I’m planning to share is from Sterling’s perspective. In Dragon Fairest, he shares the details of how the band of treasure hunters found the ancient mysterious temple and became wolf-shifters in the first place.

If all goes well, I’m planning to post the scene in a couple of weeks. Those on my newsletter will get advance notice and a chance to read the story before it goes life here, though. If you already a subscriber, keep an eye out for the announcement. If your not, a subscriber in addition to getting the advance notice, you’ll get a link to download a free digital copy of the Dragon Ever Prequel novel.

Whose story next?

I haven’t decided all of the scenes I’m going to re-work yet.  Is there a wolf-shifter you want to read about or a particular scene you’d like to see from another point-of-view?

Let me know in the comments or on Facebook.
